Egypt, officially the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a transcontinental country spanning the northeast corner of Africa and southwest corner of Asia via a land bridge formed by the Sinai Peninsula. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gaza Strip of Palestine and Israel to the northeast, the Red Sea to the east, Sudan to the south, and Libya to the west. The Gulf of Aqaba in the northeast separates Egypt from Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Cairo is the capital and largest city of Egypt, while Alexandria, the second-largest city, is an important industrial and tourist hub at the Mediterranean coast. At approximately 100 million inhabitants, Egypt is the 14th-most populated country in the world, and the third-most populated in Africa, behind Nigeria and Ethiopia.

DAY 01:
ARRIVE CAIRO
On arrival in Cairo, our local representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.
Check in time: 2pm and after. Early check in is not included.
Note: Arrival transfer is a group transfer for all guests arriving on the same flight and at the same time.
Any travelers arriving at a different time must pay extra for a private transfer.

DAY 02:
CAIRO - FULL DAY PYRAMIDS; MEMPHIS & SAKKARA; WITH LUNCH
& CAMEL RIDE (B/L)
Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel.
Today, take a full day tour to visit the Pyramids & the Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara.
The first stop is a visit to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.
Get up close to the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body and let your imagination run
wild, dating back to the time of Chephren.
Enjoy a 30 minute camel ride among the pyramids and take in the sheer beauty of these man-made
wonders of the ancient world.
Enjoy Lunch at a local restaurant.
After Lunch, visit Memphis and Sakkara.
Memphis served as the capital of Upper & Lower Egypt some 5,000 years ago during the 1st Dynasty.
Menes, the first pharaoh of this dynasty, built a great white-walled palace & the Temple of Ptah here.
Sakkara one of the most exciting historical & archaeological area in all of Egypt is Sakkara, situated about
12 miles South West of Cairo. The site is dominated by the famous step pyramid of King Zoser. It was
the first pyramid to be built in ancient Egypt, preceding those at Giza by many centuries, & is the work
of the famous pharaonic architect, Imhotep.
Return to your hotel after the tour.

DAY 03:
CAIRO - ASWAN FLIGHT; EMBARK CRUISE (B/L/D)
Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan.
(This flight is included in your package)
On arrival, board your Nile Cruise.
Enjoy Lunch on board followed by a visit to the Aswan High Dam, The Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae
Temple.
The High Dam, Just north of the border between Egypt and Sudan lies the Aswan High Dam, a huge rock
fill dam which captures the world's longest river, the Nile, in the world's largest artificial reservoir, Lake
Nasser. The dam, known as “Sadd El-Aali” in Arabic, was completed in 1970 after 10 years of work.
Philae Temple, A short trip on a motorboat will bring the visitor to a magnificent vista of the island, before
landing at what would have been the ancient quay on the south side. The temple was dedicated to the
goddess Isis and has many legends connected to it. The most well known legend tells the story of how
Isis found the heart of Osiris here after his murder by his brother Seth.
Then sail on the Nile by Felucca around Kitchener Island.
Return to the cruise ship and enjoy Dinner on board.

DAY 4:
NILE CRUISE (B/L/D)

Sail To Kom Ombo and visit the Kom Ombo Temple

Enjoy Lunch and Afternoon Tea on board.
Visit the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, god of the
morning sun.
Sail to Edfu while enjoying Dinner on board.

DAY 5:
NILE CRUISE (B/L/D)
Enjoy breakfast on board.
Visit the Edfu Temple.
The Horus Temple in Edfu is the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic temple in Egypt.
Construction began on this temple in 237 BC and was completed nearly 200 years later. Today sail
onward to Luxor via Esna. The premier destination in Upper Egypt, Luxor features an array of ruins and
monuments and is considered the most extraordinary open-air museum in the world. The city is also
known for its horse carriages, which offer a charming way to enjoy the areas many sightseeing
opportunities.
Sail to Luxor via Esna.
After lunch on board, visit the East Bank and the Karnak and Luxor Temples.
Enjoy Dinner on board followed by a belly Dance show.

DAY 6:
LUXOR – CAIRO FLIGHT; OLD CAIRO TOUR WITH KHAN EL KHALIL (B)
After breakfast, disembark from the cruise.
Transfer to the the Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo.

On arrival back in Cairo, you will visit Old Cairo and the Khan El Khalili Market.

View the Citadel which is situated on a spur of the Muqattam Hills and dominates Cairo's skyline. This
was the nerve center of the city and all of Egypt for almost 700 years. Its construction was initiated in
1176 by Saladin and completed by Muhammad Ali. Mameluke sultans and Turkish governors later on
made it their residence, building palaces and mosques within the Citadel walls.
Facing the Citadel is the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, built between 1356 and 1363 and perhaps the most
majestic monument of Arab architecture in Egypt.
Visit the Khan El Khalili, known as the Turkish bazaar during the Ottoman period. It was built in 1382 by
Emir Djaharks El Khalili, in the heart of what was then Fatimid City. Until this day, the bazaar is a center
of trade and communion in the city, and offers a wide array of antiques, handcrafts of gold, silver and
copper as well as numerous old coffee shops and local restaurants which attract both Egyptians and
tourists alike.
Return to the hotel after the tour.

DAY 7:
DEPART CAIRO (B)
After breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer to Cairo airport for your flight.
Check out time is 11am. Late check out is not included.
