Itineary
Day 1 - Arrive in Lisbon
Upon arrival at the airport where you will be welcomed by our guide who will escort the group to your hotel.
Check in time: 2pm and after. Early check-in is not included. Group Arrival Transfer: Arrival transfer is a group transfer for all guests arriving on the same flight number and at the same time. Any travelers arriving on a different flight number at a different time must pay extra for a private transfer. Arrival Transfers cannot be combined for guests arriving on different
flight numbers even if the arrival times are the same.
Day 3 DAY 3: Full day Private guided tour of Sintra, Estoril and Cascais
Breakfast at the hotel.
Around 9:00 am, meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby.
Transfer to Sintra, an unforgettable town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, filled with 19th-century
Romanticist architecture, fairy tale castles and exquisite gardens. Here you'll visit the Quinta da Regaleira Gardens and Palace (entrance ticket is included), considered the most enigmatic of all the estates in Sintra. The palace is a fusion of ornate and colorful architectural styles, but the main attraction is the extensive gardens, filled with symbolism
and intriguing constructions.
Then, you will have some free time in Sintra to explore on your own pace.
Then, head to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, and get a souvenir certificate
with the inscription "where the land ends and the sea begins" for Camões. Pass the stunning beaches of
Cascais, including Praia do Guincho, the most picturesque beach on the Lisbon coast.
Return to Lisbon and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

DAY 5: Half day Private guided tour with Wine Tasting.

Around 9 am, meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby to start your Chocolate & Wine
Experience at World of Wine.
Embark on an extraordinary journey, delving into the origins of cacao and evolution of chocolate at the
chocolate story.
Uncover the captivating history of cacao, tracing its origins and cultural significance, and you immerse
yourself in the enchanting world of chocolate. From the bean to the bar, you get to witness behind-the-
scenes magic of a real working chocolate factory and see the meticulous process that brings this
delectable treat to life.
Then continue your journey into the world of wine.
Embark on a guided tour through the captivating realm of wine, from nurturing the grape to savoring it
in a glass. Explore numerous rooms that unveil the nuances of various grape varieties, the grape's growth
process, and the birth of different wine types. Discover wines tailored to your taste and lifestyle as you
traverse different regions of the country. Refine your senses to distinguish aromas and tasting notes.
To conclude this immersive journey, enjoy a wine tasting led by professionals who will impart their
expertise, leaving you with a newfound appreciation for the world of wine.
Return back to the hotel and the remainder of the day will be at leisure.

Day 2 - Half Day tour of Belem
Breakfast at the hotel and the morning is at leisure.
In the afternoon, around 2pm meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby.
Transfer to Belém. Start this HD tour by learning more about the Age of Discovery by visiting Belém, the Jerónimos
Monastery, the Belém Tower and the Monument of the Discoveries. You will visit inside one of the most important monuments of the city, the Jerónimos Monastery. Entrance ticket to the Jerónimos Monastery is included.
Next, taste the famous Pastéis de Belém in the factory where they are made, a typical and delicious Portuguese Tart.
After the tour, transfer back to the hotel and the remainder of the evening is at leisure.
DINNER AND SHOW AT A LOCAL PORTUGESE RESTAURANT – included.
Around 7:30 pm, private transfer to Bairro Alto quarter, one of the oldest areas in the city, where you will
have the dinner in a traditional Portuguese restaurant, Clube de Fado restaurant or similar, with
typical food and traditional fado music show. Soak up the warm atmosphere and listen to the soft
melodies of the Portuguese guitar as you experience the authentic Portuguese gastronomy.
Transfer back to the hotel after dinner.

DAY 4: Lisbon - Óbidos - Fátima – Porto
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Around 9am meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby.
Transfer to the first stop: Óbidos, a medieval and charming city with its narrow-cobble stone streets,
quaint houses and an imposing hilltop castle, which once guarded the region.
Next stop is Fátima, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to three young shepherds thus
turning the town into one of Christianity’s most important pilgrimage sites. Visit the Sanctuary of Fátima,
where are the tombs (Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco) and Chapel of Apparitions. After the Sanctuary visit,
we will continue to Valinhos, an emblematic place for believers of the Fatima apparitions, because,
according to the accounts of the Fatima seers, it was there that the Angel appeared in 1916, and Our
Lady appeared on August 19, 1917. Finally, arrive in Porto, check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 7: Departure from Porto to Lisbon
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Check out time: 11am. Late check out is not included.
At the indicated time, transfer to Lisbon airport for your return flight back to the USA.
Group Departure Transfer: Departure transfer is a group transfer for all guests departing on the same
flight and at the same time. Any travelers departing at a different time must pay extra for a private
transfer. Departure Transfers may be combined for guests departing on different flight numbers at
approximately the same departure times. The group transfer will be provided for the earliest departing
flight.
DAY 6: Porto – Aveiro – Porto
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Aveiro, is known as the “Venice of Portugal” – Meet your English-speaking guide in the lobby of your
hotel to take a walking tour of this city. Then you will take a traditional Moliceiro boat tour along the
river to admire the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings and the salt pans. (ticket is included).
Return back to your hotel after the tour.
